Now I find it

I was getting set to write a post about my successful puzzle proofs, when I discovered that the people at Regents Prep already have it done. I left more pieces out than their example, making students fill in blanks in their proof, but they do seem to like the training wheels. Now I just need to let them ride the proof-cycle on their own.

I followed your link from dy/dan - I want to encourage you to still share your materials, even when you've found another site that is similar. You would be surprised at how much you might motivate another teacher. Keep up the good work and let me know if I can help!

Thanks for the encouragement Druin.

Actually, the current thread has really motivated me. I'd decided today that I'd at least redo this post as a story for starters. Break starts later this week, so once I get grades in it moves up on my to-do list.

I really do need to use your site more. I know I pulled tons of stuff from it in the week before school started. Other resolution to myself, is to use this break to sort through the resources that I've linked to and figure out what's what.

I totally understand - that is on my "to-do" list too :)

I'm really sorry for the search mix-up, if I could figure out a way to tie the two together I would... :( I'm glad you were eventually able to find something that works for you - I teach Geometry and AP Stat, so I don't deal too much in the Algebra stuff.

I look forward to seeing how the current thread at dy/dan will change the future for secondary math :)
